Overview
Jesús Arturo Escobedo is a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Grenoble in France and a research professor at the Tecnológico de Monterrey specializing in the field of autonomous navigation for service robots and user-robot interaction. During his postgraduate studies, he was immersed in the study of mobile robots to assist older adults who face limitations in their mobility. He currently leads research groups in the area of robotics related to precision agriculture.
Prior to joining Tecnológico de Monterrey, Jesús Arturo Escobedo worked as a professor and speaker at various educational institutions and as a wireless technology engineer at Huawei Technologies in Mexico.
He has participated as a visiting professor in the Global University program, in conjunction with the University of Mondragón, in Spain, and as a judge in various robotics competitions for different academic degrees.
He has more than a dozen publications in indexed journals and has been a speaker at international conferences in Canada, France, the United States, Japan, and Mexico, among others.
